The listed Hegel House in the city center dates back to the 16th century. Today, the museum is much more than a memorial. It also shows classical exhibits such as Hegel's scholar-barrett, letters, notebooks. But primarily it is interactive stations that convey the life and work of the thinker. This includes the multimedia installation "Hegel for Beginners".
A very special experience is the "Escape Room", in which visitors can playfully explore the life of the philosopher. They travel to the University of Jena at the beginning of the 18th century, where Hegel taught as a professor at the time. The philosopher has just completed a new book, the "Phenomenology of Spirit." But he is unsure whether to publish this manuscript.
